FAQ
The Craft
Every piece you see here is made by me, Bella — from start to finish, by hand, in Melbourne, Australia.
I work exclusively using the lost-wax casting method, a centuries-old technique that gives each piece its own individual character. No two come out exactly the same, and that's exactly the point.
I only ever cast in sterling silver or solid gold. No plating, no base metals, no shortcuts. What you see listed is exactly what you receive.
There are no factories involved, no outsourcing. Every stage of production — from wax carving through to final polish — happens under one roof here in Melbourne.
Orders & Custom Pieces
Custom orders are always welcome. If you have something in mind — a name, a symbol, a shape that means something to you — reach out via DM or the contact page and we'll figure it out together.
Custom pieces are designed one-on-one and typically take around 1–2 weeks from confirmed design through to completion. I'll keep you updated along the way.
Collection pieces are made in small runs, often with a short production window of 1–2 weeks before they're ready to dispatch. Quantities are intentionally limited — once a piece is gone, it may not come back.
Shipping
All orders are packed and shipped from Melbourne, Australia.
Domestic orders typically arrive within 3–7 business days. International shipping is available, with delivery times generally ranging from 1–3 weeks depending on your location.
Every order leaves here gift-ready, packaged in Maison Bella packaging — whether it's for someone else or a little something for yourself.
Returns & Care
We stand behind every piece that leaves the studio.
If something doesn't fit quite right, we offer one complimentary resize per order. Just get in touch within 30 days of receiving your piece and we'll sort it out.
In the rare event that your order arrives damaged in transit, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo and we'll make it right — no fuss.
We don't accept change-of-mind returns, so if you're unsure about sizing, style, or anything else before you order, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'd much rather answer your questions upfront than have you end up with something that isn't perfect.
Caring for your piece
Sterling silver — store in a dry, airtight pouch when you're not wearing it, and keep it away from perfume, lotions, and water. A soft polishing cloth will bring back the shine whenever you need it.
Solid gold — low maintenance by nature. A gentle clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth is all it needs to stay looking its best.
